Friday marks the birthday of gorgeous Genelia, a lead actresses in the South who is best known for her spontaneous acting skills. We at BizHat.com wish her a very happy birthday.

Genelia began her acting career with Tujhe Meri Kasam in 2003, after gaining wide attention in a Parker Pen commercial with Amitabh Bachchan.

She received her first Filmfare Award in 2006 for her performance in critically acclaimed Telugu romantic flick Bommarillu, which was remade in Tamil in 2008 as Santosh Subramaniam. In the same year, she became the dearest of the Bollywood viewers through Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na. Later, she went on to do several big budget flicks and blockbusters, including Urumi.

In addition to films, she has hosted the TV show Big Switch and is the brand ambassador of nine top brands: Cadbury’s Perk, Fanta, Spinz, Dabur Vatika, LG Cookie, Virgin, Margo, Colgate, Garnier and Fastrack.

It is evident that Naga Chaitanya is acting in Ram Gopal Varma and Kiran Kumar Koneru’s joint production venture Bejawada Rowdilu. The movie started its filming recently and is currently being shot in and around Vijayawada.

Now, the latest update is Genelia has been roped in to play the leading lady in the film. Genelia, who has lost offers in Tollywood after the disaster Orange seems to be bouncing back. She has grabbed the female lead in Rana.Daggubati’s Naa Istam and now, the bubbly beauty has become the part of Bejawada Rowdilu pairing up with Naga Chaitanya.

Bejawada Rowdilu is taking shape in the hands of a debutant director Vivek Krishna. The movie is based on rowdyism in politics and Naga Chaitanya will be seen in a complete mass look, which is distinct from all his previous flicks.
